With eight goals in two games, Napoli have sent out a clear message to the rest of Serie A \u2013 one Rudi Garcia underlined after his team’s win over Lecce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We’re getting back to the level these players should be at,\u201d he purred following the 4-0 victory at the Stadio Via del Mare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe’re on the right track. We’ll see how the league table looks at the end of the weekend but the main thing is we’re improving<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe did well in our first two games then things took a turn for the worse and we didn’t get much luck either. We’ve got going again now and some of our top players like [Khvicha] Kvara[tskhelia] and [Frank] Anguissa have improved their fitness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was fairly calm. I knew we needed consistency and that’s what we’re going to need from here on in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday we won an important game at a difficult ground where Lecce always make it hard.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Garcia then expressed his satisfaction with the goalscorers and stressed the need for rotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI’m happy for [Leo] Ostigard and I’m happy it came from a cross because my staff have been doing a lot of work on set-pieces on the training ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c[Giovanni] Simeone played really well in the first half and deserved a goal. Then [Victor] Osimhen came on with fresh legs and he proved decisive, as he often is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVictor also let [Matteo] Politano take the penalty and showed once again how much he cares about his team-mates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI’m pleased for [Gianluca] Gaetano too as he scored on his return. It’s a tremendous joy for a Neapolitan youngster like him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have to use our squad because we have lots of games and we’re capable of excelling in every competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
