Napoli have set their sights on completing a three-match winning run before the international break, says Rudi Garcia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boss was speaking to the media two days before his team host high-flying Fiorentina at the Stadio Maradona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI asked the team for three straight wins and on Sunday we have the chance to achieve that,\u201d Garcia began. \u201cWe’re in third place alongside Fiorentina. We want to beat them to stay up near the top and consolidate our position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe know they’re a team who play good football and they’ve enjoyed an excellent start to the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFiorentina have top-quality players, they’re well drilled and have a clear playing philosophy. They’ve scored lots of headed goals and we’ve analysed their strengths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey’re a similar team to us in the way they press and win the ball back. We know it will be a difficult match but we’re playing at home and we must show we’re capable of winning it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will you make changes to the team after this run of back-to-back Serie A and Champions League games?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have another day tomorrow to see how the lads are looking. I’ll decide on the line-up after our last training session.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will Amir Rrahmani be available for selection?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe’ll have a look at him tomorrow. He’s nearly recovered but we don’t want to risk it. If he’s fit enough, we’ll decide whether or not to have him in the squad, but either way he can’t play the full game.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you think the excellent performance against Real Madrid can spur the team on despite the defeat?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, we can take confidence and become stronger because of it. The way we played shows we’re capable of giving world-class teams like Real a game. There were little things we should have done better, especially when we conceded the goals, but it can help us grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Real Madrid match shows we’re a strong side but now we need to take that into our game on Sunday and be even more determined when defending.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will Jesper Lindstrom get more playing time?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLindstrom just needs time to settle in. He’s a very talented player and I’m sure he’ll help us a lot in attack.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can Leo Ostigard and Natan push their way up the pecking order in defence?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe’ll see. Their on-field performances will determine how things pan out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you come up with the idea for having an ‘inner circle’ of players?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt’s something I’ve done at every club where I’ve worked. I like to get players from the dressing room to collaborate closely with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHowever, I must stress it’s always been me summoning the players and not vice versa, as I read somewhere. I observe and sometimes I enjoy it but the main thing I’m interested in is the relationship with my players.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
