The Azzurri lose at San Siro<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Napoli lost 2-1 to Milan at San Siro. Alexis Saelemaekers scored the opener for Milan after three minutes. Christian Pulisic made it 2-0 after 30 minutes. Napoli pulled one back in the second half with a nice penalty scored by Kevin De Bruyne. Then Milan went down to 10 players and Napoli dominated the rest of the match, with David Neres hitting the crossbar once and coming close to scoring the equaliser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the comments by coach Antonio Conte:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUnfortunately we missed some chances. We could\u2019ve done more because conceding two goals in half an hour is too much of a blow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cApart from that, I can\u2019t hold anything against the team. Playing a game like this one at San Siro and creating so many chances is very important.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry we lost. However, I\u2019m satisfied with the team\u2019s attitude because this is how we need to carry on. Last year this type of attitude would\u2019ve been unthinkable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re disappointed about the result, but not about our performance. We deserved the draw and we showed that we can make a comeback when things get hard.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe made some mistakes, that\u2019s for sure, but that can happen. We reacted well and we could\u2019ve taken home a positive result.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou can lose a match, but we had the right attitude on the pitch and now we must focus on what lies ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
