Past Lazio v Napoli encounters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Saturday’s match at the Stadio Olimpico will be the 78th<\/sup> Lazio v Napoli fixture in all competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club from the capital have won 32 of those meetings (most recently a 3-1 Coppa Italia triumph in 2024\/25), with 25 draws (the most recent a 2-2 in the 2024\/25 Serie A) and 20 Napoli victories (the last one being a 2-1 win in the 2022\/23 Serie A).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Lazio have won just two of the last 13 Serie A matches between these two sides at the Olimpico: 1-0 in 2019\/20 and 2-0 in 2020\/21. Of the other 11 games, Napoli have won eight and there have been two draws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre-match stats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lazio are unbeaten in the last six games with Napoli in all competitions, winning four and drawing two at the Olimpico and the Maradona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lazio are one of just two teams (together with Roma) yet to concede a penalty in the current Serie A campaign. However, they have collected the most red cards (five) so far in the league.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Napoli, on the other hand, have not had any players sent off in the 2025\/26 Serie A (like Lecce, Cagliari, Inter, Verona and Torino).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Napoli have scored the most goals in the last 15 minutes of the first half including added time (six), level with Bologna, AC Milan and Atalanta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be the third match-up between Maurizio Sarri and Antonio Conte as coaches. Sarri won both previous meetings while in charge of Juventus, beating Conte’s Inter side home and away in the 2019\/20 Serie A season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matteo Cancellieri and Mattia Zaccagni are Lazio’s joint top scorers in the league this year, with three each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tijani Noslin’s only hat-trick since coming to Italy came against Napoli in the 3-1 Coppa Italia victory in December 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rasmus Hojlund is Napoli’s top marksman in the 2025\/26 Serie A, with six goals to his name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Azzurri striker notched the joint most Serie A goals in December (four), the same as Nikola Vlasic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
