“It was a below-par performance today. I think the disappointment of Parma was still weighing on our minds. I wasn’t able to instil the right energy in the team and unfortunately the lads didn’t perform at their usual level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLazio played a really good match but we were lacking in energy and when the intensity drops off it’s hard to control the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe wanted to pick up as many points as possible in this season finale and that remains our goal. We’ll look forward now and try to end the season well so that we can finish the job and secure Champions League football.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leonardo Spinazzola<\/strong> also commented on the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe’re disappointed. We were sluggish today and that shouldn’t happen. I’m sure the psychological blow of drawing with Parma had an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe still had a flicker of hope that we could get back to the top of the table. Sadly, once that dream ended our motivation dropped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat said, we’ll be fully committed when we get back to work on Monday because we want to end the season on a high.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
