Massimiliano Allegri shared his thoughts with the media the day before Napoli's trip to Fiorentina.
“The team is in good shape. We've lost [Leonardo] Spinazzola as he's got a muscle strain and he'll be back after the break. We will have [Frank] Anguissa with us though. He's trained separately most of the week but joined in with the others today. We're improving our condition. This game in Florence is the last of this first mini-cycle of matches. Hopefully we can get a good result and then start again in three weeks with some key players returning.
“The Bologna win was good for us – for morale too. I thought we played well against Arsenal too. Tomorrow is going to be very intense against a very fast, skilful team. It's always difficult with the atmosphere at the Stadio Franchi. I think this game against Fiorentina is one of the biggest matches of our season”
"I don't think anyone expected [Costantino] Favasuli: to have such a big impact in two games – and two very tricky games. We have to let him develop gradually. The same goes for [Antonio] Vergara. They're young players who need to impove technically and physically. We mustn't heap responsibility onto them but on the team, who have to help them develop as well.
“We don't have everyone available at the moment but the main thing is we have the right team spirit so that whoever plays is able to perform at their best throughout the season.”
