The Italian champions kicked off the new season with a 6-1 win over local side Anaune Val di Non in their first summer friendly in Dimaro Folgarida.

Matteo Politano grabbed the first goal of Rudi Garcia's reign from the penalty spot. Four academy players – Antonio Vergara, Antonio Cioffi, Coli Saco and Gennaro Iaccarino – then got on the score sheet before Matias Olivera added the sixth late on.

The Azzurri's next pre-season friendly will be against SPAL on Monday.
