Giovanni Di Lorenzo spoke about life under Massimiliano Allegri, the team's hunger for success in Napoli's centenary year and his own desire to see out his career in Naples during a media conference in Dimaro on Saturday.

"The first few days here have been really good,” the skipper began. “We're getting to know the new coaching staff and we're working really hard. We like the new set-up. There's a good vibe. [Massimiliano] Allegri is experienced and has character. We're happy to have him as our coach. We're doing a lot of work with the ball but it's very high intensity. Allegri has his methods and we're following his instructions. We're sure he'll help us a lot and we'll do everything we can to help him.

“We're really keen to have a great season in the club's centenary year. We have a strong squad here and we've known each other for years. Our aim is always to challenge for trophies. We want to keep improving. Although we've been very successful in recent years, we're still fully motivated to try and win more. Winning in the centenary year would be very special.

“This is my eighth season at Napoli and Naples has become my home. I'd like to end my career here and win more silverware.”
