Napoli triumph at the Maradona
Napoli beat Udinese and finished the season in second place. The Azzurri scored their winning goal in the 24th minute: Kevin De Bruyne provided the crucial assist, a 30-metre laser pass that found Rasmus Hojlund. Rasmus controlled the ball, moved towards the goal and took a diagonal shot, finding the back of the net. A fantastic goal both in terms of play and finish. Napoli sealed the victory and deservedly finished the season in second place.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo was very happy and said:
“It’s great to feel the passion of this stadium and our fans, who supported us from start to finish this season.
“I want to thank the coach for what we’ve done together. I am proud and the entire team are proud to have worked with [Antonio] Conte and to have reached amazing achievements.”
Rasmus Hojlund was just as happy as the team captain:
“I’m happy I scored and that we won. I’ve grown a lot in Naples, and that’s also thanks to Conte, and I’m happy I decided to come here.
“It was very important for us to finish the season with a win and to do so while feeling our fans’ passion, which is always wonderful.”
