Alex Meret has underlined the team's determination to produce an upturn in results, starting with Tuesday's Champions League clash with Bodo Glimt.
"We're a close-knit group and we're determined to bounce back," the goalkeeper said at the pre-match press conference. "Bodo are a very good team but we want to take this chance to muster a reaction.
"We know it's not an easy spell but we're also aware of the quality we have in our squad. We need to put it to good use, which we haven't been doing lately. We'll get out of this together.
“Bodo are a tough, well-drilled side – you only need to look at their results. That said, we'll go out there and try to take the game to them because we're playing in front of our fans and we want to make them happy. The Maradona faithful can be a big help tomorrow.”
“The coach helps us and instructs us every day but we're the ones who go out on the pitch so we're responsible. We have to turn our results around through hard work and attention to detail. It's the small details that have cost us recently."
