NAPLES – Napoli recorded yet another win and gained revenge on Cremonese, who had knocked them out of the Coppa Italia recently.

The stars of the show, as is so often the case, were Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen. The Georgian, who turned 22 on Sunday, opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a beauty of a strike, and while the Nigerian’s effort wasn’t quite as easy on the eye it served the purpose of increasing the hosts’ lead.

Elif Elmas then came off the bench to round off a wonderful night for Napoli, a game which sees their dream edge ever closer.
