Rafa Marin joined Massimiliano Allegri at the UEFA press conference ahead of Napoli's Champions League clash with Villarreal.
The Spanish defender, who knows the club well having spent last season on loan there, outlined what the Azzurri can expect to face at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
“I know how good Villarreal are and I know it's going to be a good game,” he said. They have quality players who are very fast. It's going to be intense and difficult.
“I'm happy to be able to play against my old club. They welcomed me with open arms and it was an important season for me. I went back to Naples a more mature player
On playing with three at the back:
“We're doing well at the moment. It's not about how you set up in defence but the way the team plays. When you win, everything is good of course, but I do like this system and hopefully we can keep playing this way.
“Obviously I'd like to score my first goal for Napoli, but it's already very rewarding for me just to be playing regularly.
“Tomorrow will be tough. Villarreal can perform well at the highest level in Europe. It's very important for us to come away with a good result.”
