The team had an afternoon session on Friday as they set their sights on Sunday's lunchtime encounter with Lazio at the Maradona. After a warm-up, the Azzurri did some possession work and played a mini-match. Matthias Olivera joined in with the rest of the team.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo had diagnostic tests at Pineta Grande Hospital, which revealed a groin strain (adductor longus muscle) in his left leg. The captain has already begun a recovery programme.
