After the stunning 6-1 win away to Ajax in the Champions League and a day off, the first-team squad returned to training at the SSCN Konami Training Centre on Thursday to begin preparations for the clash with Cremonese on Sunday at 18:00 at the Stadio Zini in Serie A Matchday 9.

After some activation work in the gym, the squad was split into two groups. One worked in the gym while the other carried out strength work on the pitch.

The players then went through some tactical work, possession drills and played a small-sided game.

Victor Osimhen was not involved in training due to family reasons.

El Pampa Sosa was in attendance and was seen having a joke with and hugging the coach and the players pitchside.
