President Aurelio De Laurentiis was at the training ground on Wednesday as several international players were welcomed back into the fold.
The Azzurri are preparing for their next Serie A fixture, away to Verona on Saturday afternoon (15:00 CEST).
After some warm-up exercises with the ball, the squad was split into two groups for specific drills on defensive and attacking play. The session was then rounded off with a series of small-sided games.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Leo Ostigard and Leo Cajuste joined in with the others after reporting back from international duty, while Stanislav Lobotka and Piotr Zielinski did personalised work on the pitch.
Frank Anguissa, Juan Jesus and Victor Osimhen had physiotherapy.
