"Tomorrow's game could prove to be crucial for the group standings." Frank Anguissa gave his thoughts in the pre-match press conference ahead of Napoli v Rangers on Wednesday evening.
"We're up against top-class opposition who are energetic and play great football. It'll be a tough task and we'll need to give our all if we're to get a good result."
"We're aware of how passionate the Ibrox crowd are. They're sure to give Rangers a big boost. We'll need to play as we know we can and bring a good mentality into the game. Rangers deserve respect and we'll need to show a lot of character."
"Playing with the same intensity as we did against Liverpool will be important but we've also got to put that game behind us. We know that Ibrox is a tough place to go and we can't look too far ahead. We need to take things game by game."
You've become a leader of the Napoli dressing room:
"I have a lot of faith in the lads. Luciano Spalletti has always shown a lot of confidence in me and encourages me every day. I'll always try to help out the coach and the team because I only play well when the team plays well."
You scored a great goal against Liverpool and we've been seeing you in a more advanced role. Are you being asked to carry out different tasks this season?
"I don't think I've changed a lot tactically-speaking, but I do feel more confident and I push forward more often. As for goalscoring, that's more down to the forwards, but in general I just try to help my team-mates out.
"It's a shame that our fans can't be in the stadium, but we can make up for this by giving even more than normal. They'll always be with us in spirit."
