On Wednesday morning, at the headquarters of the Foreign Press Association in Italy at Palazzo Grazioli in Rome, President Aurelio De Laurentiis received the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for young people in Naples, promoting sport as a means of growth, inclusion and social development, and enhancing, innovating and leading SSC Napoli with professionalism and entrepreneurial spirit.
The accolade forms part of the historic Foreign Press Sports Awards, organised for over 30 years by foreign press journalists accredited in Italy. Each year, the awards honour leading figures in Italian sport, recognising athletes and individuals who have distinguished themselves across the various national sports associations, as well as those who have promoted initiatives of significant social, educational and cultural value through sport.
