Jens Cajuste didn’t hold back after Napoli conceded a late equaliser to draw 1-1 away to Udinese on Monday evening.
“We’re thoroughly disappointed. We’re so sorry about conceding an equaliser at the end.
“Maybe we lacked a bit of intensity after opening the scoring. We should’ve been more focused and determined to claim the victory.
“It’s very hard to explain what’s happened this season and what hasn’t worked well. There are so many things that haven’t gone in the right direction. We didn’t manage to win a game that we had under control tonight.
“Even though we haven’t achieved the results that I was hoping for, for me personally, it’s been one of the best and most exciting experiences of my career. Naples is wonderful and I’ll try to represent this club even more in the future to make the incredible fans happy.”
