Francesco Calzona admitted his and the team's frustration after seeing another two points slip from their grasp in the dying moments against Udinese.
Victor Osimhen had given Napoli the lead and seen a second goal ruled out for a marginal offside call before Isaac Success struck in stoppage time to claim a share of the spoils in Udine.
“We keep conceding late goals and it's really annoying,” the boss began. “We controlled the game tonight and we should have scored another goal much to make it safe.
“We didn't manage to pull Udinese out of shape much in the first half as our ball circulation was slow. After the break we upped the pace and carved out several chances, but we weren't able to come away with all three points.
“I'm sorry because it's the third game in a row where we've let a lead slip in the final minutes. That's the sort of season we're having. Unfortunately we keep conceding. We should have scored more than one because we had plenty of chances.
“It's a pity because we're looking a lot better organised and were more solid tonight but it wasn't enough.
“Obviously I thought we could do better when I joined. We have the quality to get back up there. Now we need to finish the season as best we can by trying to get good results in our remaining games.
“It's been a very difficult season but I still believe we can secure European football. We must do everything we can to achieve that and show our quality between now and the end.”
