Unfortunately Napoli didn’t manage to come away with a win in Madrid on Wednesday evening, despite getting off to a positive start.

Within the first ten minutes Giovanni Simeone netted a goal from close range to give the visitors the lead. Just moments later Real Madrid levelled the score with Rodrygo earning Los Blancos their first goal of the game.

Jude Bellingham doubled the hosts’ lead with a header in the 22nd minute.

Frank Anguissa equalised with a powerful shot from a tight angle almost straight after the break, bringing the score to 2-2.

Real Madrid secured their victory in the last minutes of the game through Nico Paz and Joselu.

Napoli will now face Braga on 12 December to decide who takes second place in the group and qualifies for the next round.
