Antonio Conte says he is confident his team can find the strength they need to overcome Copenhagen despite the depleted resources at his disposal.

“This is a bit like a final and we're totally focused on this game,” the coach explained at the UEFA media conference in Denmark the day before Champions League Matchday 7.

“We've had absurd run of fixtures but we must put every bit of energy we can muster into this one. We know that Copenhagen and our last game against Chelsea will determine whether or not we qualify. We must try to win. Another other result would not be good.

“Everyone knows about our injury problems. It's an emergency situation but we must muster our energy and give everything we've got at this point of the season.

“Sometimes players' injuries are predictable or can be explained. You get years like this. We have to accept it and tackle this situation with every ounce of energy we have.

“Copenhagen are a very well-drilled team who can compete in the Champions League. We've analysed them and their qualities but we have to focus mainly on our own potential. I have a group of players who have always responded in the face of adversity. I've very confident.

“We're not coming here crying. We know we can play our football and we know there's a big prize at stake and we want to take it. We'll go out there with our heads held high, fully determined to try and get the win.”
