Giovanni Di Lorenzo reflected after Napoli’s Champions League draw against Union Berlin on Wednesday evening.
“We made a mistake that allowed them to get the equaliser, but we deserved to win based on our performance.
“Once we opened it up, we needed to manage the game better and score again to secure the win.
“We take responsibility for what happened leading up to their counterattack. We were caught out of position. We want to say sorry to the fans because they deserved to celebrate our performance with a win.
“We’ll do everything we can in the last two matches to ensure we qualify. We know our potential and we can reach the finish line.”
