“It was a strong performance and we managed the game well,” explained goalscorer Giovanni Di Lorenzo after the 2-0 home victory over Sassuolo on Sunday evening.
“We’re all pleased with how we’ve started. At the start of the season, as a team, we’ve shown that we are focused and have what it takes to repeat our performance level from last year. We controlled the game so well tonight against a really well-organised side.”
“I’m happy with the goal because making it 2-0 gave us more breathing room. I’m always available to my team-mates and try to get in behind the opposition’s defensive line whenever I can.
“We’re pleased and know we’re capable of having another great season. We have all the technical requirements to do it all over again.”
