Giovanni Di Lorenzo described the 4-0 loss to AC Milan on Sunday evening as “ugly” while stressing the need to “bounce straight back”.
“It’s disappointing, especially because we were playing at home and we’re feeling down, but we’re also fully aware that we can bounce straight back.
“We’re a united team and we’re also aware of our potential. We need to look ahead with our heads held high, knowing that we have important and decisive games coming up.
“We have such a big lead in the league, but we certainly didn’t underestimate our opponents. You have to give your all in every game and we’re aware of that.
“From tomorrow onwards we’ll think about our upcoming games and we’ll keep working in the way we’ve always done because we want to showcase what we know we can do. There’s time to analyse tonight’s match and get back on the front foot.”
