Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Jack Raspadori and Alessando Buongiorno were all part of Italy’s squad for the UEFA Nations League clash with Israel on Monday evening that saw the Azzurri run out 4-1 winners.
Di Lorenzo, who got to don the captain’s armband, notched Italy’s second goal in Udine after Mateo Retegui opened the scoring with a penalty. It was set up by his team-mate Raspadori’s fine cross to put Luciano Spalletti’s side 2-0 up. The Napoli captain also added gloss to the scoreline with a fine right-footed strike to make it 4-1 to Italy.
Di Lorenzo played the full 90 minutes, Raspadori was involved for 73 minutes and Buongiorno entered the fray with 87 minutes on the clock.
