Giovanni Di Lorenzo played more games and more minutes than any other player during our Scudetto-winning campaign.
The Azzurri skipper totalled 3,257 minutes across 37 Serie A fixtures, playing 35 full matches. He was subbed off once, came on as a sub once and remained on the bench only in the penultimate fixture against Bologna.
He also weighed in with three goals and three assists in Serie A – a league high for a right-back in 2022/23.
Di Lorenzo was the only defender in Serie A to create at least 45 chances from open play and have at least 10 shots on target.
These were his three league goals:
Week 19, Salernitana 0-2 Napoli: Di Lorenzo latches onto Frank Anguissa's pullback and fires home beneath the bar to give Napoli the lead in first-half stoppage time.
Week 29, Lecce 1-2 Napoli: A well-worked Azzurri move ends with Kim Minjae crossing for Di Lorenzo to open the scoring with a powerful header inside the near post.
Week 36, Napoli 3-1 Inter: With five minutes left on the clock, Di Lorenzo makes it 2-1 with a brilliant curling finish into the top corner.
