“We knew that this game had potential pitfalls. We did well to tackle the game with the right focus. We were right at Salernitana from the get-go.
“We scored early on and we then managed the game well. We found a few of their corners difficult to deal with but we definitely deserved to go on and get a second goal.
“Up until now we’ve not been able to show what we’re truly made of, but our aim is to get to the top. It was important to win today in order to climb up the table. Our performances are improving. Now we’ve got to show some consistency and string a good run of results together.”
