Giovanni Di Lorenzo was full of praise for his team-mates following the 1-0 triumph and strong performance against Union Berlin in Germany on Tuesday evening.
“It was a big win. We had the right approach out there and showed our winning mentality which we must always carry with us. This is a tough ground to come to and the rain made it even more difficult.
“We put everything we had into getting the three points here, knowing we’ll then face them at home in an important game and we want to have a positive result to build on for that clash.
“This sort of performance and this display of character are what we need to aim high and target a place in the next round.”
