Giovanni Di Lorenzo discussed the 3-1 victory over Torino on home soil on Saturday: “We’re pleased with the win because it’s allowed us to stay at the top of the table and continue down our path. There’s still a long way to go and a lot of routes to take.
“We knew it’d be a tough game against a side that is on the up. We showcased all our qualities on the pitch by playing brilliant football, particularly in the first half.
“We then took our foot off the gas and that shouldn’t happen. We got back into our rhythm in the second half and were in control of the game.
“We need to take it game by game and focus on our next match. The league campaign is different from the usual schedule because of the winter break caused by the World Cup. It’s not the right time to look at the league table. We just need to work hard and keep improving.”
