Eljif Elmas was unable to prevent North Macedonia losing to Ukraine in Euro 2024 qualifying on Saturday.

A closely fought contest in Prague was finally put to bed by Oleksandr Karavayev in the 95th minute, after Heorhiy Sudakov had opened the scoring in the first half.

The result leaves North Macedonia on seven points in Group C, three behind Ukraine and Italy while England lead with 13 points.

Elmas played the entire match.
