Rudi Garcia praised his players for keeping their cool after making a slow start to the game and eventually turning the tables on Frosinone.
Matteo Politano equalised then Victor Osimhen bagged a brace to cancel out the hosts' 8th-minute opener.
“Our passing was laboured at the start and we weren't able to play our football but we didn't panic when Frosinone scored,” the boss began following his side's 3-1 success at the Stadio Stirpe.
“The lads stayed calm, our quality came to the fore and we managed to turn it around.
“[Jens] Cajuste's penalty was unfortunate but I didn't take him off because of his performance – he was on a yellow. It was his first taste of Serie A and he needs time but he can play on [Frank] Anguissa's side or in the middle on [Stanislav] Lobotka's patch.
“We need to get our rotation right. We did that a bit today but we'll need to do more. I can't ask my midfielders to play 50 matches. We must be good at managing our energy levels and adopting different tactical solutions so that we stay sharp.
“Osimhen is a top striker. He's very competitive and goes all out to win. In the first half I told him he needed to do better defensively because he wasn't pressing the way I asked him to. He made his mark though by scoring two wonderful goals.”
