"The only downside to this evening is the result. We deserved to win so we're disappointed, but I'm happy with the performance." Rudi Garcia was clear in his assessment of Napoli's 0-0 away draw at Bologna.
"We played as a real team this evening and put in an earnest performance. We created chances in the first half and Bologna didn't get a sniff of our goal until the end.
"We dominated throughout although in the second half there were times in which we handed the initiative to Bologna.
"We were inches away from a win - the distance between Victor Osimhen's penalty going in or not. Even champions like Victor can miss such chances.
"Obviously such results aren't good for morale. However I'm happy for the lads. We were up against a tough opponent who we didn't really let into the game, despite fielding a different to normal defence.
"We have to look forward. We need to get a win and then aim to go on a good run. This squad is capable of this and they'll no doubt show what they're capable of.
"We're not smiling right now because we're not winning games. However we've seen that this team is capable of bouncing back and climbing up the league."
