For the fans to celebrate this year’s Serie A champions, SSC Napoli, in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples and with the contribution of the Campania Region, has organised a parade of the team along the wonderful Lungomare Caracciolo, on two open-top buses.
The buses will travel across the route from Molo Porto di Mergellina to the start of Piazza Vittoria, for a total of 2 kilometres, and then, moving in the opposite direction on the roundabout of Via Francesco Caracciolo, they will return to the starting point through the same route.
The fans will get the chance to celebrate our champions in a unique setting. It will be an unforgettable afternoon that will begin at 3:00 pm on Monday 26 May.
To guarantee peace and security at this extraordinary event, the competent authorities have developed a major security plan, which includes closing off a large area with manned barriers.
Access of the public to this area will be limited and will be guaranteed through dedicated access points located in the areas that are most easily accessible for the public coming from all over the metropolitan area.
SSC Napoli wishes to thank the Prefecture, the Police Station and all Law Enforcement Agencies for their indispensable support in organising such an important event. The club also asks its fans to do all they can to ensure a peaceful and joyous event.
The details regarding the location of the access points to the barricated area, when they will be open, the areas that will be closed to traffic and any exceptions and enhancements to the ordinary public transport services will be communicated by the Municipality of Naples through its communication channels.
All participants should turn up in advance at the event. Moreover, to relieve congestion in the areas with the highest levels of attendance, those who will not be able to enter the barricaded area following the directives of the security plan will still be able to enjoy the view of the route of the buses on big screens installed by the Municipality of Naples near the access points.
We are certain that, once again, Naples and its people will offer the world a show of great passion and support, something that only this city can offer, in full compliance with the rules of civil coexistence.
