Juan Jesus exuded confidence as he spoke to the media ahead of Napoli's Champions League return leg against AC Milan.
Speaking from the Stadio Maradona at the pre-match press conference, the Brazilian said: "I'll try to help the team produce a big performance. We need to overturn the first-leg result and we have the ability to do it. We're aware of our strength and we have more than 20 points than Milan in Serie A.
"I've played in big international matches, including when Roma beat Barcelona five years ago. I'm ready for tomorrow and I think we have what it takes to reach the next round.”
What's your message for the fans?
"I don't think there's anything to say. I'm sure they'll get behind us and we must give our all on the pitch. The help our fans give us is essential.”
Do you think it will be another tense match like the first leg?
"I think you expect competitiveness in a match like this. We want to respond on the pitch and we'll need to be totally determined if we want to go through.”
What are the main strengths of the Milan attack?
"They have skilful players who are good on the counter. [Rafael] Leao is the liveliest and he can cause real problems. We must try to keep the ball because if we've got it they can't have it.”
How much does Osimhen change Napoli?
"Victor is our top scorer and he comes with grit, power and will to win. He'll want to play a starring role tomorrow to help us achieve another target.”
