Khvicha Kvaratskhelia totalled 12 goals and 10 assists in his first season in a Napoli shirt – becoming the first forward to reach double double figures in his debut year in Italy.
Kvara is also the first player to rack up at least 10 goals and 10 assists in a maiden campaign in any of the top five European leagues since Diego did so for Werder Bremen in 2006/07 (13 and 13).
The Georgian wizard becomes the fourth player in the Aurelio De Laurentiis era to have a hand in at least 20 goals (22, to be precise) in his first year with Napoli in Serie A. Before him, that was achieved by Edinson Cavani (2010/11), Gonzalo Higuain and Jose Callejon (both in 2013/14).
Kvaratskhelia was the only player in 2022/23 to attempt over 70 shots and create more than 50 goal-scoring opportunities for team-mates.
In addition, he fashioned more chances (26) and laid on more assists (five) after dribbling the ball than any other player in the Italian top flight.
