Milan won the first ever Italian Super Cup that was played abroad (which was their third win in club history): a 1-0 win for the team coached by Fabio Capello on 21 August 1993 in Washington D.C.
Milan’s top scorer in the competition is Andriy Shevchenko with three goals, the only player who has ever scored a hat-trick in the Super Cup: a 3-0 win over Lazio in the 2004/05 edition.
The only Super Cup semi-finals played by Milan were in the 2024/25 edition, when the Rossoneri beat Juventus 1-2: it was a comeback win after a goal by Kenan Yildiz with an own goal by Federico Gatti and then the decisive goal by Christian Pulisic.
