A tensely fought encounter in Como failed to produce a winner as Napoli earned a point to edge closer to securing Champions League football for next season.
Speaking after the game, Antonio Conte admitted that a point apiece was the right outcome.
“It was a very good performance against a top-level side. There was a lot riding on this game for both teams. I think a draw is a fair result in the end.
“I see this point as another step towards our objective. It was an open match with both teams playing to win. I think it was a good game too.
I congratulated the lads. We must keep playing with this determination to earn a Champions Leage spot and finish as high up as possible.”
Sam Beukema also shared his views on the match:
"To come away with a clean sheet is a very good result. Obviously we'd have preferred to win it. We tried everything we could to score but we must give credit to Como too.
“We can be happy with the performance and the point because it keeps us moving forward.
