Napoli were held to a 0-0 draw by Parma at the Maradona on Wednesday evening. It was a closely fought game and despite both sides’ efforts the match ended all-square.

Here’s what Napoli assistant coach, Cristian Stellini, had to say:

“Unfortunately, and despite the intense pressure we put on, we weren't able to make a breakthrough.

“We're disappointed because we wanted to win this match, but we were lacking freshness and sharpness, especially in one-on-one situations.

“We're aware that, for reasons beyond our control, we're always having to field the same team. We’ve ultimately paid the price in terms of fatigue.”

Amir Rrahmani also gave his thoughts on the match:

“It's disappointing because we wanted to get the three points tonight. We didn’t score and, considering our performance, we deserved a goal tonight.

“Playing every three days with many players out injured is hampering us. However, we have to deal with the situation we’re in and try to improve.

“We have to focus on ourselves, without looking at the league standings, and try to recover all of our energy and get our injured players back in the squad in order to be able to perform at our best. The season is long, and we know we can aspire to achieve our objectives, including in the Champions League.”
