Napoli win at the Stadio Zini

Napoli won their last match of 2025 in Cremona, with Rasmus Hojlund being named man of the match. First he scored the opener just 15 minutes into the game, with a right-footed tap-in from inside the box. Then, right when the first half was drawing to a close, the Napoli striker turned his marker and scored a second goal with a right-footed shot, with the match ending 2-0 for the Azzurri.

Here’s what Antonio Conte had to say about Napoli’s 2025:

“It’s been a great year for us and our fans. Winning the league title and the Italian Super Cup were amazing achievements, and winning them in Naples is something special.

“I still remember the celebrations for the Scudetto and I have to say that with these fans every achievement means a lot and stays with you. I’m proud of this and I hope we can remain successful in the future too.

“I’m the coach of a great club and of a team of good, brave players, also in terms of human values. We want to honour the champions’ badge on our shirts as well as grow as a team and as a club.

“We are also waiting for our injured players to recover so that we can reach our full potential in 2026, although we are perfectly aware that we’ve already accomplished extraordinary things.”

A very happy Rasmus Hojlund was also interviewed:

“Scoring a brace is amazing, and it’s even more important when your goals help the team secure the win.

“Today the team delivered a great performance. These are three crucial points for us to end the year well and for the table.

“It’s thanks to my team-mates that I’m playing so well. My team-mates are top players. We’re a good team, which makes me even happier.”

Giovanni Di Lorenzo took stock of 2025 for Napoli:

“We really wanted to win this away game to end on a high this wonderful 2025, which will be forever remembered.

“We did a good job bouncing back after our match against Udinese, and our Italian Super Cup win gave us extra momentum. Now we need to keep up the good work to seek to reach new prestigious goals.”
