The Napoli midfielder fired home in the 39th minute and was then subbed off shortly after the hour mark.

Robert Lewandowski wrapped up the points in the 82nd minute.

Having drawn their opening game 0-0 with Mexico, Poland now sit top of Group C awaiting results elsewhere.
