The Azzurri enjoyed a great win in their third friendly match in Castel di Sangro on Wednesday evening, beating Spanish side Girona 3-1. Napoli took a first-half lead through a David Lopez own goal, but Girona managed to pull one back early in the second half through Valentin Castellanos. Coach Luciano Spalletti decided to change things up on 70 minutes, making nine substitutions at once. With the extra boost of energy, the Azzurri stormed to victory with goals from Andrea Petagna and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who slotted home neatly from the penalty spot. Next up is Espanyol in what will be the final friendly match of this summer camp.
