Francesco Forneau will be the man overseeing proceedings when Napoli host Monza in Serie A Week 2 next Sunday.
The Rome-based referee will be assisted by Massara and Sechi, with Rutella as fourth official. Irrati and Paterna will be on VAR duty.
Forneau has only taken charge of one previous Serie A fixture involving the Azzurri: Napoli 2-1 Udinese on 19 March 2022.
The match official also refereed the recent friendly match between Napoli and Mallorca (1-1) at Castel di Sangro.
