Cyril Ngonge scored his first goal in Napoli colours on Sunday against his former club of Verona. “I can’t describe the emotions I felt after that goal,” he said.
“Scoring in this stadium is incredible. I came on to turn the game around and that’s what we managed to do, together.
“These three points are so important. The lads have been playing well but we’ve been missing that spark. We all gave everything, both those that started and those that came on throughout the game.
“I’d like to thank the team for welcoming me straight away. I settled in right from the first day and I’ve already seen how great an environment it is. It’s amazing playing for such a great club.”
