Matteo Politano shared his disappointment after Napoli’s 3-1 defeat to Barcelona.
“We had a shock start, but then we got ourselves back in the game. We reacted well and we deserved more.
“The mistakes we made at the start definitely affected us. Being 2-0 down can be really hard, but we didn’t give up and we managed to open up the game again.”
On a possible Victor Osimhen penalty:
“It seemed a clear penalty from the pitch. I don’t know why it wasn’t a foul. In any case, we had multiple other occasions to level the score.
“Now we need to regain our energy and give it our all in Serie A. We’ve got to play the rest of the games like finals to be able to clip that fourth place spot.”
