Napoli needed to move the ball around more quickly to make the most of the upper hand they enjoyed in the opening period, said Matteo Politano after the team lost to Lazio on Saturday,
“Our ball circulation was too slow and Lazio dug themselves into the trenches but we needed more presence of mind in front of goal because we had lots of chances to score.
“Unfortunately we conceded from their first chance and then in the second half we misplaced too many passes. We have a lot of work to do – that was not the real Napoli today.
“We have lots of games to play after the break. We'll recover our energy and show what we're really about.”
