Matteo Politano says it was "crucial" for Napoli to get back to winning ways in front of their home support, as they did against Cagliari on Saturday.
"It is a big result for us. We wanted to win at all costs because we'd failed to do so at home in the league for too long," he added.
"We played a very good match. Cagliari proved to be a tenacious opponent who caused us problems. We did well to maintain our balance and get back in front after they levelled.
"[Victor] Osimhen and [Khvicha Kvaratskhelia] are two very important players for us, they proved it again tonight. We have to continue like this – the season is long and we want to be in the fight for the Scudetto until the end."
