“We really wanted to secure our place in the next round and get back to winning ways.” Matteo Politano was delighted after Napoli claimed a 2-0 win over Braga in the Champions League, reaching the next round in the process.
“Today’s match was the last our of a tough set of fixtures. Unfortunately not all of them went well, but I don't think we’ve always got what we’ve deserved with our performances.
“However, we’re happy with how things went this evening. It was crucial for us to reach the last 16 of the Champions League and we’re confident moving forward.
“We’ve got another big game against Cagliari in three days time, before heading to Rome for a huge match against a direct rival. There’s still a lot to play for this season – we need to keep on working hard.”
