The Azzurri will train in Dimaro from 17 to 27 July and in Castel di Sangro from 30 July to 13 August
Aurelio De Laurentiis was at Palazzo Petrucci to present Napoli’s two pre-season training camps in Trentino and Abruzzo. The President also talked about the club’s 100th anniversary.
“Trentino works extremely hard to keep such high levels of organisation. It’s a very welcoming region. We must thank the new mayor for embracing the idea I had of creating an open-air cinema. This year it will include 400 seats in the square and I’ve offered the city four remarkable films to be shown.
“The club’s 100th anniversary will be celebrated throughout the year, not just on 1 August. Napoli is both a philosophy and way of life. Join us on this one-year journey. In Naples, celebrations continue, they don’t start and end in a single day.”
“I’ve always refused to go on tours. As they go to Trentino and Abruzzo, our players must take part in a sort of general test to be ready to deliver both in the league and in Europe. I hope they’ll be in great shape next season after two long pre-season training camps and a week in Castel Volturno before playing their first away game.”

Here are the other most important statements made during the conference:
Maurizio Rossini, CEO of Trentino Marketing: “I was very happy with what the president said because our welcoming spirit has been a key part of our tourism industry. Many of our tourists are not only Italian but also international. Sport has really played an important role here: 70% of tourists take part in all the sports activities we offer them. We have a strong bond with Napoli as we’ve been working with President [Aurelio] De Laurentiis for a long time. Thanks to this club, we’re able to shine a light on all the beauty the Sole Valley has to offer.”
Marco Panciera, mayor of Dimaro: “By now, we and Napoli are family. The values of friendship and sport have created this very strong bond, which of course I hope we will preserve. It will be a great celebration not only for Dimaro, but also for the Sole Valley as a whole.”
Luciano Rizzi, President of the Sole Valley Tourism Board: “We will have the pleasure of hosting the Napoli museum, with all of the club’s history. Sports are what we are all about: we will host the Mountain Bike World Championships in late August and seize that opportunity to promote our cycle paths.”
Mario Quaglieri, Regional Councillor responsible for Budget, Heritage, Personnel, Sport, Rural Areas of Abruzzo: “Today we are seeking to adopt Napoli Calcio as a brand to promote Abruzzo. It is a fully-fledged local sponsorship. The Abruzzo-Napoli partnership will continue to bear fruit.”
Angelo Caruso, mayor of Castel di Sangro: “We allocate economic and financial resources that can deliver tangible results in terms of tourism. To me, the effectiveness of this strategy is extremely important. We’ve just reached the end of a six-year cycle of activities, which began with a health emergency, and then we had the pleasure of witnessing Napoli win two league titles. I want to thank the entire team for their collaboration, professionalism and helpfulness throughout the entire pre-season training camp.”
