Giacomo Raspadori secured Napoli a win over Union Berlin on Tuesday night, scoring the only goal of the match and earning the Azzurri another crucial three points.
“Scoring at the Olympiastadion is amazing. I was overwhelmed with emotion,” said Raspadori.
“This result stands us in good stead to qualify. I’m chuffed because my goal earned us that deserved but hard-fought victory.
“We knew that Union wouldn’t leave us much space and that we had a very intense game ahead of us. We went through the match with the right mentality and that goal rewarded our desire to win.
“We’ve won two matches in a row. We have to keep this up. We’re a solid team and we have what it takes to be in with a real chance.”
