Only a few moments after being subbed on, Giacomo Raspadori scored a goal to secure a victory over Monza. Read what Jack had to say after the game.

“I’m happy with my goal, with the victory and I’m happy for the team. It was important we found some morale again and earned points so we can move up the table. We need to build the last part of our season from this win.”

Scoring 21 seconds after stepping on the pitch is a season record.

“I didn’t know that. I thought it had at least been a minute. I definitely came on very determined because every moment in a match can be decisive.

“I really believe in hard work and so I try to give my all, whether that’s in training or when I get on the pitch. I got myself in the game straight away today. There were only a few seconds between me getting subbed on and my goal, but it’s all down to the rest of the team, who were making the comeback.

“This win should give us the motivation we need for the final sprint and to try and grab that European spot.”
